It’s not all bad, but it’s not all good
The elegant decor and peaceful ambiance provided a restful stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we felt welcome throughout our visit. The breakfast options were plentiful and satisfying! !
The location is a bit remote, requiring long walks or taxi rides to major attractions, which can be inconvenient. Additionally, the air conditioning was inconsistent, causing discomfort during warm nights.

Charming boutique hotel with beautiful decor and an elegant touch. My room was spacious and comfy with an amazing marble shower. Loved the friendly atmosphere from the owners, who were eager to help with anything we needed!
I did have a miniature-sized ceiling leak that may have added a fun twist to my shower—but not in a good way! Also, the bus to the city was as reliable as a cat on a leash.

Villa Duse felt like a hidden gem in Rome. The neighborhood is calm and charming, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. My room, the Standard Double Room, was spacious with elegant decor and a private terrace that I loved breakfasting on. The cleanliness was impeccable, and I appreciated the comfortable bed. However, access to 24-hour staff was lacking. I encountered a bit of stress when I accidentally locked myself out of my room early one morning. Luckily, it was resolved, but just a heads up for future guests. The breakfast spread was plentiful, especially the fresh pastries. The local cafes and restaurants nearby were fantastic, offering authentic Italian cuisine without the tourist trap feel. Public transport was easy to navigate, with a bus stop close by. I did wish parking wasn't such an issue. it cost me $20 a night at a nearby lot. But overall, the atmosphere and thoughtful touches from the staff made my stay memorable.
