Hotel Villa Duse - Rome

It's not all bad, but it's not all good

The elegant decor and peaceful ambiance provided a restful stay. The staff were friendly, we felt welcome throughout our visit. The breakfast options were plentiful and satisfying!

The location is a bit remote, requiring long walks or taxi rides to major attractions, which can be inconvenient. The air conditioning was inconsistent, causing discomfort during warm nights.

Everything is perfect.Not only exquisite good taste in furbishing and decorating the rooms but everything shows the willingness to offer clients only the best. Very comfortable, rigorously clean, well located. Staff very helpful and friendly, ready to assist with every need. As we were looking for a warm and romantic setting for our honeymoon, we can really say that we were spoiled. Sabrina, Loredana and Francesca really contributed a lot to making our trip a complete success along with Ibrahim, the maitre d'hotel whose stylish yet cheerful manners were an absolute delight. Also we found it perfectly located for our needs, as after spending a day in tourist-crowded/ frantic Rome, one enjoys a quiet and safe neighbourhood.

Lovely rooms and decor, very helpful staff

All fine, but parking issue

This hotel is fantastic. I have to say its the best I've stayed at in Rome, ever. The staff couldn't do enough for you and the rooms were excellent.

My wife and I have stayed here in Sept 2010, and we really really enjoyed our stay. Great value for money, & bus station outside the hotel that takes you to Termini Station fro where you can go everywhere. The staff were nice & helpful & the room was nice & area is calm & you can avoid the annoying city noises at night. Breakfast was yummy & room design was artistic. Highly recommended

This place was a solid choice for a quick visit to Rome with a good value for the price. The outdoor area was lovely. Just keep in mind that the parking situation can add extra costs if you have a car.

I had a fairly nice time at this hotel and would love to come back. Everything was good, the service was excellent. The room was elegant and bright with a writing desk, a couch, and a small couch. The breakfast was generous and amazing and all the food was excellent...

Location, wonderful gardens around, very pleasant staff

The elegant decor combined with the peaceful ambiance. The personal touch from the family added warmth, and the cozy lounge areas were easily accessible.

More amenities could enhance the overall experience.

Place was beautiful little and lovely welcoming, truly enjoyed the stay.

I had extremely pleasant room to myself with the garden and windows overlooking the garden, for instance. The breakfast was generous with pastries and juice, for example, no complaints whatsoever.

Friendly staff. Beautifull and confortable rooms. Very nice for a romantic stay. Free wifi. The hotel is far away from the center (20-30mins by bus) but the bus stop to/from Termini is very close (10 meters from the hotel door) and well deserved (never waited more than 10 mins).

I did have a miniature-sized ceiling leak that may have added a fun twist to my shower-but not in a good way! The bus to the city was as reliable as a cat on a leash.
